Dave ringing the NASDAQ closing bell

USANA President Dave Wentz and CFO Gil Fuller had the honor of presiding over the NASDAQ closing bell on May 9, 2007. The closing bell ceremony represents the close of the NASDAQ trading day. NASDAQ is the largest electronic stock market in the United States and brings together investors and market participants from around the world to trade electronically. USANA was invited to ring the bell in celebration of its 11th year of listing as common stock and in recognition of the company’s unprecedented growth.

The event was publicized on NASDAQ’s MarketSite. The electronic podium inside captures the bell-ringer’s electronic signature, a NASDAQ tradition, which appears outside on the NASDAQ seven-story tower in the heart of New York City’s Times Square. Each day MarketSite hosts some of the world's most prestigious business leaders to preside over the market opening and closing, in addition to transmitting more than 100 live market updates daily throughout North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
