USANA received an official patent on May 8 from the United States Patent and Trademark Office that guarantees proprietary rights to the self-preserving technology used in Sensé skin- and personal-care products.The patent covers USANA’s formulation for manufacturing Sensé products so that they are capable of maintaining their shelf life without the need for added chemical preservatives. The products are “self-preserving” in that they don't require traditional chemical preservatives to maintain their shelf life.This is revolutionary technology that USANA’s respected team of scientists spent nearly 10 years perfecting. The patent ensures that only USANA and our Associates have the exclusive distribution rights to our unique self-preserving technology.
USANA'S Sensé product line also received a Utah Best of State Award this year in the personal-care/cosmetics category for its revolutionary self-preserving formulations. So once again, CONGRATS USANA and all of us who are part of this wonderful company!

My folks are HUGE into USANA and are also thrilled with this new patent. I don't do the business but often think about it. I know my parents have done extremely well with it. I DO use the products and they are wonderful!
